DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "La Cantal" mantel clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement with visible Brocot escapement in a green porcelain case with white porcelain dial with Roman numerals.
CONDITION:
overall excellent original condition with no cracks or repairs to case, which is likely Royal Bonn, though there is no stamp saying so. Good hands, beveled glass, and pendulum. The porcelain chapter ring has a few small losses near the 10 and 8. The original pallet jewels have been replaced with steel. Clock ticks and strikes, but was not tested long term.
